Welcome To Abhikrati Foundation

As said by Abbe Pierre - " Hope is not a matter of age ", so the founders of Abhikrati proved it true.

The journey started when the 17-year-old boy (Shanu Gupta), from Alwar-Rajasthan, came up with an idea to be a helping hand for those small ones who are living lives in a slum lacking basic services. Being to know as our future generation, one should stand with them & support these underprivileged by providing basic resources & education,

Moving ahead, on January 14, 2020, he shared his thoughts with one of his close friends (Aman Khandelwal) as he was willing to do something on that day itself. Hence, both of them collected their pocket money, gathered a few friends & provided food to the needy. By seeing the feelings of joy & hope in those innocent eyes, led to this endearing organisation.

With the notion of going the extra mile, planning, collection of funds, determination & hope, the first-ever official drive campaign of Abhikrati Foundation was organised very soon on the festival of Holi I.e on March 9, 2020. Following this, they fed the kids & slum people, distributed some eatables to their families & was completed.

The name Abhikrati, proposed by the founder, meant " The desire of doing Something ". By continuing their regular studies, they balanced endowment & harmony with each other productively.

Moving ahead on this, a digitally oriented group was created on April 14, 2020, to connect people from different areas of the state to communicate effectively & thus a proper team build-up.

The main aim of the Abhikrati Foundation is to remove deprivation & bring out youth by making them independent so that they can live a happy & normal life through the most powerful tool I.e education.

Considering this, on the occasion of Teachers Day, September 05, 2020, a program called 'Slum To School Program' started to motivate children for studies & basic awareness. Inside this, timely basic education according to the maintained syllabus is provided which helps them in taking admissions in the basic knowledge of the subject.

Moreover, awareness camps are arranged for menstrual hygiene, Yoga, Mental health , against tobacco, plantation, for a fit environment and society. In this one and half year ride, we made so many memories together, achieved more than expected and wishing to lift up discrete corners of the society. This is how Abhikrati looking forward to create a better tomorrow.

It is proudly said, Abhikrati has raised 100000+ funds till now and has 140+ Active members in the team.
