Slum To School Campaign

Schools are an integral part in the life of each & every child. It's their right to get educated, so as schools play an important role to impart the basic education in them.

As there are numerous educational schemes & policies in place led by the government, they seem excellent on paper, but the results tell a different story.
 
Also, the annual status of education reports reveal that more than 50 percent of class 5th students cannot even read basic text or solve basic arithmetic problems.

To overcome such facts & surveys, the campaign run by us i.e "Slum To School" from last one year, in which mostly basic education to slum children's, admissions in school comes at our priority, are being successfully conducted.

As we are able to successfully manage getting some children's admit into the schools, hence we are trying to expand it over in order to attach more children to schools.
Further, as our teaching drives are successfully conducted in slum areas i.e Shalimar Slum , we are focusing to expand it over Alwar District.

By getting engaged with these children for more than a year, we have realised that it is not enough to pull children to school with the promise of meal or scholarship.

These children yearn to learn. Through a combination of informal education, skill development, co-curricular activities & regular meals, these children can build a solid foundation & can then merge into formal systems of education.

We think that the key to reforming the education sector for the underprivileged lies in partnerships & collaborations with all players. Through this, progress will be fast tracked, effective & will produce concrete results.
